Increasing Efficiency Thanks to the Latest Innovation for the Chemical Industry – The Magnetically Coupled Pump From NETZSCH
In times of rising costs and increasingly complex processes, increasing efficiency and process reliability are crucial. NETZSCH Pumps & Systems has, therefore, further developed the proven technology of the progressing cavity pump and equipped it with a magnetic coupling to meet these challenges.
The chemical industry requires continuous innovation as well as the highest safety and efficiency standards. Downtimes and leaks cause considerable costs and risks. The NEMO® MY magnetically coupled pump offers a cost-effective solution to avoid such costly incidents.

Magnetic coupling: Superior profitability and efficiency
Progressing cavity pumps, which typically operate at 200 or 300 rpm, can now be designed as a smaller, lighter and more economical unit thanks to the reduction in the complexity of the magnetic coupling and the adaptation to NETZSCH progressing cavity pumps. The completely hermetically sealed design prevents the escape of hazardous liquids or vapours. This ensures the safety of your employees and your plant and creates a clean working environment, reducing your risks and costs. These pumps, specially developed for slurries, can pump products with up to 20,000 cps viscosities. The NETZSCH magnetic coupling allows you to utilise the advantages of progressing cavity pumps in applications for which progressing cavity pumps could not previously be used. In addition, the magnetically coupled pump is less cost-intensive than a pump with a mechanical seal and requires no maintenance of the sealing system. Constant seal pressure and maintenance of the liquid level in the sealing system are not required, which further simplifies operation.
Innovative solution for chemicals: The magnetically coupled pump
NETZSCH has created further development that, in contrast to conventional pumps with mechanical seals, does not require dynamic seals but only static seals. Curious? Don't hesitate to secure your recording of our webinar!
