OEM Product and Market Manager

NETZSCH Pumps is looking for a self-motivated, mechanically-inclined individual to work as an OEM Product and Market Manager to grow the PERIPRO peristaltic pump product line for the OEM market throughout United States. This person will also be the market manager to develop the lithium battery market in the US. This person will work from a home office ideally located in the Midwest United States and travel as required to grow the business.

NETZSCH Pumps North America, LLC, an internationally operated technology company, is the world market leader for Progressing Cavity Pumps that are used in a variety of industrial applications.

Focusing on growing the lithium battery market and PeriPro® Peristaltic Pump product line for the OEM market, the Product and Market Manager will perform the following duties among others:

  • Develop and implement a growth plan to promote the NETZSCH PERIPRO pump lines to OEM accounts in the United States.
  • Research lithium battery market, the developments and where market is headed.
  • Determine what are the market demands from an application, product, price and delivery in the lithium battery market.
  • Perform competitive, market research and analysis.
  • Select, organize and participate in industry related events such as conferences, shows, etc.
  • Develop a three year sales plan for identifying opportunities and maximizing sales in this strategic market.

Successful candidates will have at least five to eight years experience selling industrial, engineered products, preferably experience with positive placement pump technology. In addition, candidates will have:

  • The ability to have related business and technical discussions as well as the ability to speak in front of groups. Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. 
  • A valid driver’s license and current passport and the ability to travel as required to customers, for events to promote NETZSCH, and to other NETZSCH locations.
  • Solid negotiation skills which includes the ability to communicate, persuade, strategize and cooperate.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time.
  • The ability to work from a home office. (Preferably located in the Midwest US.)
