Regional Sales Manager Southwest

NETZSCH Pumps is looking for a motivated, mechanically-inclined individual to work as a Regional Sales Manager covering the southwestern region of the US. The Regional Sales Manager is a strategic, high visibility position and is responsible for managing the sales activities of the Southwest territory. This position reports to the Vice President of National Sales and the ideal candidate will live in the Greater Houston area.

NETZSCH Pumps North America, LLC, an internationally operated technology company, is the world market leader for Progressing Cavity Pumps that are used in a variety of industrial applications.

While managing sales activities within the territory with the ultimate goal of increasing market share penetration, the Regional Sales Manager will perform the following duties among others:

  • Sell NETZSCH pumps, grinders, spare parts and service to meet or exceed region sales revenue plan as established by the Vice President of National Sales and NETZSCH Pumps management.
  • Technically and commercially support distributors in the Industrial and Municipal markets.
  • Manage all project activity in the assigned region, including product offerings, and establish sales strategy while following Company policies and objectives.
  • Make joint sales calls with sales partners or service personnel to build relationships with key customers in the region.
  • Provide required training to sales partner’s staff on products, applications, competition, commercial issues, company policies and operational procedures. Support sales partners with customer training.
  • Provide the Company with market trends, sales growth strategies and competitive intelligence. Participate in marketing activities as required.


Successful candidates will have previous experience in technical sales, preferably with positive displacement pumps. In addition, candidates should have:

  • The ability to have related business and technical discussions as well as the ability to speak in front of groups.
  • A valid driver’s license and current passport is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field preferred.
  • The ability to travel to all states in the assigned territory as needed to achieve sales goals.
  • Located in the Greater Houston area, commutable to the Houston office when not travelling.
