Multi Screw Pump
A multi screw pump or screw cell pump is a particular type of positive displacement pump used mainly for pumping viscous liquids or lubricants. It consists of two or more intermeshing screws or spindles rotating in a cylindrical housing.
Multi screw pumps can provide constant, low-pulsation pumping of viscous fluids such as oils, lubricants, paints, adhesives, and other materials. The pumps can be available in different sizes and designs to meet the application's specific requirements. One advantage of multi screw pumps is their ability to gently convey delicate or shear-sensitive liquids, as the pumping process occurs inside the chamber without solid turbulence or shear forces.
