An innovative and flexible working environment characterises the new office concept on the NETZSCH Campus in Waldkraiburg. It is based on an open office concept with a modular design that can quickly adapt to organisational changes. The office environments cover a total area of almost 5,000 square metres. The openness is complemented by sufficient retreat options, which are available for informal and spontaneous communication as well as for periods of relaxation. The various rooms can either be booked or used spontaneously. The community concept also aims to dissolve departmental boundaries and strengthen social ties. The new concept relies on employees finding the most suitable space for their work. The desk is no longer the central place of work.

Height-adjustable desks in all areas

Modern working conditions are part of the new office concept. A primary focus lies on the health and well-being of the employees. This is another reason why height-adjustable desks are predominantly used. The individual workstations also have two external screens, a docking station, a webcam, and an ergonomic office chair. The desks provide a flexible working environment that allows employees to alternate between sitting and standing, which helps to reduce back pain and improve posture. This flexibility promotes physical health and increases concentration and productivity by improving blood circulation and preventing fatigue. In addition, the ability to customise the working position supports an inclusive working environment meeting all employees' needs.

The free coffee and tea kitchens on the NETZSCH Campus are a special highlight, contributing to a pleasant working atmosphere - not only in the office space but also in all other areas, such as assembly and production. Breaks spent in these communicative zones promote creativity and productivity by providing relaxation and informal conversation. The different variants range from retreat rooms for one person to small meeting rooms for two to three people and conference rooms for eight or more people. This enables flexible utilisation depending on the number of people and the occasion. The efficiency of meetings is promoted by offering the right setting for every type of meeting, whether for concentrated individual work, small team meetings or more extensive group discussions. All meeting rooms have at least one screen and camera, including a sound system, table tank, chairs and stools. Which means nothing stands in the way of hybrid meetings.

The Innovation & Conference Center, ICC, is a central part of the campus, which offers a wide range of options for conferences, meetings and creative collaboration on an area of 400 square metres. With a variable conference room for up to 50 people, the ICC is ideally equipped for larger meetings or interactive workshops. The cutting-edge technical equipment supports effective presentations and interactive sessions, including two monitors, a projector and a projection screen. Mobile power banks for laptops also increase the flexibility and mobility of users by guaranteeing a continuous power supply for devices. In addition to the high-quality technical equipment, the ICC has its own coffee and tea kitchen, a cloakroom and plenty of storage space, making it a central location for innovation and dialogue.

The basecamps and the project zone are designed to promote cross-departmental collaboration. With digital flipcharts, the basecamps offer a modern platform for digital presentations and interactive work. The technical equipment is complemented by analogue whiteboards and various connection options providing a high degree of flexibility in the use of electronic devices. Acoustic elements such as curtains and stands contribute to a pleasant working atmosphere. In the project zone, the equipment is complemented by a coffee and tea kitchen, which allows combining work meetings with coffee or tea breaks. Standing tables and chairs encourage a dynamic working style and support spontaneous or planned meetings. The areas are designed to increase collaboration and creativity by providing an adaptable and technologically advanced environment for teams from different departments to work together.

Relaxation room for resting in between

The relaxation room is a specially designed area offering employees the opportunity to relax and recharge their batteries during the working day. This quiet zone is designed to create a peaceful atmosphere where employees can withdraw from the demands of everyday work. In addition to a couch with cushions, a chair and a small side table are placed.
