Pulsation-free

Pulsation-free pumping describes a medium's smooth, uninterrupted transport without pressure or volume fluctuations. This is particularly advantageous in sensitive applications, such as food, chemical or pharmaceutical industries, where a constant flow rate is required to ensure quality and process stability.

Technologies such as progressing cavity pumps enable pulsation-free pumping through their continuous rotary motion, which generates a uniform flow rate. Peristaltic pumps also offer a constant flow rate thanks to their gentle squeezing mechanism. These pump systems minimise pressure surges and ensure gentle, efficient pumping of even viscous, abrasive or shear-sensitive media.
