Switching off the lights for environment: Earth Hour 2025

Even just by switching off the lights for an hour, 69 kW of energy will be saved at the locations in Germany.

One hour of darkness for a better future! For the fifth year in a row, the world market leader for positive displacement pumps participated in Earth Hour at its global development and production sites, sending a strong signal in support of climate protection. On Saturday, 22 March 2025, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. local time, the lights were turned off for one hour – a conscious statement in support of greater sustainability and responsible energy consumption.

Pump up your future: Day of apprenticeship at NETZSCH

More than 200 young people and their parents found their way to the NETZSCH Campus in Waldkraiburg.

All good things come in threes! For the third time, the day of apprenticeship, with the theme “Pump up your future”, took place at the end of May, on the NETZSCH Campus in Waldkraiburg – and, as in the previous two years, it was thoroughly successful. Once again, there was plenty on offer for visitors. In addition to informative discussions with trainers, the children and young people could try out different professions. Both young people and their companions were impressed by the conditions and diverse opportunities.

New chapter in life: Apprentices start careers at NETZSCH

A total of 14 young people began their apprenticeship at NETZSCH Pumps & Systems in Waldkraiburg in 2025.

There was a mixture of excitement and anticipation in the air on the NETZSCH Campus in Waldkraiburg on Monday, 1 September 2025, as 14 young people began a new chapter in their lives by starting their apprenticeships. Over the next few years, they will be trained as qualified specialists in a total of seven different apprenticeship programmes at the global specialist in handling complex media.

Convincing sustainability! NETZSCH was awarded the special “Green Excellence” prize at the Lean & Green Summit in early October. The awards recognised the outstanding results achieved by the global specialist in handling complex media in the areas of end-to-end sustainability, the effectiveness of CO2-reduction measures, and the integration of sustainability into management systems.

Since 2018, the global specialist in handling complex media has been assessed annually by EcoVadis, one of the world’s leading platforms for evaluating corporate sustainability performance.

440 years of NETZSCH: Celebrating long-serving employees

Honour where honour is due! NETZSCH Pumps & Systems held a festive evening event with flowers and certificates to appreciate the long-standing service of numerous employees. At the end of November, we not only celebrated in the chic ambience of Café & Restaurant FELIX on the NETZSCH Campus in Waldkraiburg, but above all said thank you. Thank you for decades of commitment, loyalty and Proven Excellence.
