Efficient consulting for success in environmental protection
The programme has been running in the district of Mühldorf am Inn since 2006 and offers companies a comprehensive year of advice, during which energy and environmental protection potential are developed under the professional conductor of the Munich-based company Arqum. Participating companies receive workshops and individual consultations to help implement savings measures in waste management, water consumption, and emission reduction. The advantages for the companies are clear: As a result of the measures implemented by the nine participating companies, almost 380,000 kWh of electricity, around 1 million kWh of heat and 10 million kg of CO₂ emissions were saved.
Environmentally friendly solutions with economic added value
NETZSCH, the global specialist in handling complex media, was also able to implement sustainable improvements within the programme. These include switching from disposable plastic cups to reusable coffee mugs and installing heat recovery systems on the exhaust air units. These measures led to a reduction in annual disposal costs and energy consumption and a sustainable reduction in procurement costs. Around 200,000 plastic coffee cups and 100,000 kWh of heat are saved annually. These and other measures illustrate how corporate environmental commitment, and economic benefits can be optimally combined. "Participation in the ÖKOPROFIT Club offers us the opportunity to exchange experiences and continuously work on new environmental and energy-saving measures", says Julian Kaindl, Environmental Manager at NETZSCH.
NETZSCH is proud to be part of this dedicated network and contribute to the region's environmental protection.
