FPSO

FPSO stands for "Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading". It is a unique floating production facility for the oil and gas industry. FPSOs are used to produce, process and store oil or gas directly at sea and then transfer it to tankers or pipelines transporting the produced oil or gas to land. 

FPSOs offer several advantages over fixed offshore platforms. They allow for flexible placement in different offshore fields and can be more easily moved to new locations when production in one place is depleted.
