Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is an exceptionally corrosion-resistant steel alloy refined with a high proportion of chromium and often also nickel or molybdenum. This composition gives the material a high resistance to moisture, chemicals and mechanical stress. 

In pump technology, stainless steel is frequently used for components coming into contact with aggressive or hygienically sensitive media. Due to its smooth surface and high resistance, it is ideal for applications in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. In addition, stainless steel ensures a long service life and low maintenance requirements, even under extreme operating conditions. Different stainless steel qualities are used depending on the requirements, which differ in their resistance to temperature, pressure and chemical stress.
