NETZSCH Honoured With EcoVadis Silver Medal
For the fifth time in a row, NETZSCH Pumps & Systems was awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal in 2025: A significant recognition of the company’s commitment to sustainability, environmental protection, and social responsibility.
Since 2018, the global specialist in handling complex media has been assessed annually by EcoVadis, one of the world’s leading platforms for evaluating corporate sustainability performance.
Significant progress in all areas of sustainability

Proven Excellence
The global locations continuously improved their performance. This trend is set to continue. In this year’s rating, the company scored 74 out of 100 points, up seven points from the previous year. With a percentile rank of 91, NETZSCH ranks among the top nine percent of all companies worldwide rated by EcoVadis. The comprehensive assessment framework covers a range of sustainability topics. These include the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. NETZSCH made significant progress in almost all categories:
- Environment: Improvement from 80 to 81 points
- Labour and human rights: Increase of two points to 72 points
- Ethics: Significant increase from 50 to 69 points
- Sustainable procurement: Increase of 11 points to 71 points
This impressive development reflects the consistent implementation of the groupwide sustainability strategy. The CSRD-audited sustainability report, which documents progress in all relevant areas, and numerous other measures – including certification according to DIN ISO 50001 and DIN ISO 27001 – have contributed significantly to this.
Vision to win the EcoVadis Gold Medal

“Our goal is to improve our own sustainability performance continuously and to achieve the EcoVadis Gold medal in the coming years.”
The fifth silver medal in a row is not only a reason for NETZSCH to celebrate, but also an obligation to continue consistently along the path it has chosen. “Our goal is to improve our own sustainability performance continuously and to achieve the EcoVadis Gold medal in the coming years. This goal drives us to optimise processes further, increase transparency and anchor sustainability even more firmly in all areas of the company,” says Johann Vetter, Director of Integrated Quality Management System. NETZSCH will continue to invest in sustainable technologies, processes, and structures to reduce its environmental impact further while meeting its customers’ needs in the best possible way.
At NETZSCH, we do not see sustainability as a marginal issue, but as an integral part of our global strategy. Looking back on our more than seven decades of history as a technology and global market leader, we recognised early on that environmental and social responsibility go hand in hand with technical excellence.
