Pumps for Biogas and CBG Plants at REI Expo 2026

Meet NETZSCH Pumps & Systems India at Booth D251A, Bioenergy Pavilion, Renewable Energy India Expo 2026, 22 to 24 October.

As the global specialist in handling complex media, NETZSCH Pumps & Systems India will present pumps for CBG plants and anaerobic digestion. The range is built to enhance gas yield at every stage, from feedstock feeding to digestate transfer. Developers and operators of compressed biogas plants in India, also known as Bio CNG plants, can discuss pump selection directly with NETZSCH experts at the booth.

  • Event: Renewable Energy India Expo 2026
  • Dates: 22 to 24 October 2026
  • Booth: D251A, Bioenergy Pavilion
  • Venue: India Expo Mart, Greater Noida (Delhi NCR, India)

Pumps for Every Stage of the Biogas and CBG Process

Digester Feeding: NEMO® B.Max Biogas Feed Pump
The NEMO® B.Max works as a feedstock pump for biogas plants. It mixes and conveys substrates with a high dry solids content, up to 15 %, into a homogeneous mix and feeds it to the digester. It is designed on the FSIP® (Full Service in Place) principle, so operators can check for clogging and service the pump in place. This reduces maintenance time.

Slurry and Digestate Transfer: TORNADO® Rotary Lobe Pump
The TORNADO® rotary lobe pump is a robust, compact biogas slurry pump that fits in tight spaces. It reliably conveys high flows up to 1,000 m³/h at pressures up to 10 bar. Typical duties include substrate circulation, emptying slurry tanks, and digestate transfer for post-processing and FOM production.

Solids Reduction: N.Mac® Grinder and M-Ovas® Macerator Pump
Large solids in organic waste and biomass slurry can block pipes and damage equipment. The N.Mac® grinder and M-Ovas® macerator pump shred and crush these solids, which protects pumps and downstream units.

Substrates Handled by NETZSCH Biogas Pumps

NETZSCH pumps and grinders handle the wide mix of feedstock used in biogas and CBG plants, including:

  • Cow dung and other manure slurry
  • Food waste and organic waste slurry
  • Biomass slurry, including silage
  • Press mud from sugar mills
  • Sewage sludge
  • Digestate

Frequently Asked Questions

Which NETZSCH biogas pumps will be on display at REI Expo 2026?
The NEMO® B.Max mixing and conveying pump, the TORNADO® rotary lobe pump, the N.Mac® grinder and the M-Ovas® macerator pump will be on display at Booth D251A in the Bioenergy Pavilion.

Is the NEMO® B.Max a progressive cavity pump?
Yes. NETZSCH calls the technology “progressing cavity.” The NEMO® B.Max is a progressing cavity pump developed for biogas plants, where it works as an anaerobic digester feed pump.

Which NETZSCH pump suits digestate transfer?
The TORNADO® rotary lobe pump is used as a digestate transfer pump in biogas plants. It moves digestate on for post-processing and fertilizer use.

When and where is REI Expo 2026?
REI Expo 2026 runs from 22 to 24 October 2026 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR.
