Positive Displacement Pump

A positive displacement pump is a type of pump that moves and compresses liquids or gases using moving mechanical parts.

The major difference from other types of pumps is that positive displacement pumps displace the fluid being pumped by physical contact rather than by the application of velocity. There are several types of positive displacement pumps, including peristaltic pumps, progressive cavity pumps, screw pumps, and rotary lobe pumps.

Our PD pumps are often used in serval industries such as oil and gas, chemical processing, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and wastewater treatment, where accurate and highly reliable fluid handling is critical. They are most preferred for all applications requiring high-viscosity fluids, abrasive materials, or delicate shear-sensitive products, as they can handle these substances with minimal damage or degradation.
