EFTE (Ethylene-Tetrafluoroethylene)

EFTE (Ethylene-Tetrafluoroethylene) is a partially fluorinated high-performance plastic characterised by exceptional chemical resistance, high temperature stability and excellent mechanical strength.

The material is resistant to a wide range of aggressive substances, such as acids, alkalis and solvents. Therefore, it is frequently used as a lining or coating in the chemical and process engineering industries. Thanks to its anti-adhesive properties and smooth surface, EFTE also reduces build-up and facilitates the cleaning of components. Furthermore, the material offers high UV and weather resistance as well as good electrical insulation properties, making it ideal for demanding outdoor applications.
