Progressing cavity pump with maintenance-free seal
The NEMO® MY is a sustainably manufactured, maintenance-friendly progressing cavity pump with a hermetically sealed magnetic coupling. Following the successful product launch of the pump at ACHEMA 2024, the application for the Best of Industry Award 2024 in the “Pumps & Compressors” category was submitted to the Vogel Communications Group. Since 2016, the award has honoured the best innovations and new approaches to solving challenges in various areas. The participating companies present their innovations in an interview. This is followed by an online voting phase in which readers of the various Vogel Communications Group publications can vote for their favourites in the respective categories.
Magnetic drive pump makes it to the finals
NETZSCH has made it to the final in the “Pumps & Compressors” category with its combination of the advantages of progressive cavity technology (high viscosity, high solids content) and those of magnetic drive technology (hermetically sealed). Unfortunately, it was not enough to win first place at the awards ceremony in Würzburg in the middle of January. “We are proud to make it to the final with our innovation despite the strong competition”, says Erwin Weber, Sales Director EMENA. “Especially in these challenging times, this shows again how important it is to be close to our customers. Many thanks to everyone who voted for us”, summarises Weber.
For the global specialist for positive displacement pumps, being honoured as a finalist is a further incentive to push ahead with its research and development – all in the spirit of Proven Excellence.
