In cooperation with Rosenheim Technical University, NETZSCH offered participants a varied programme that combined theory, practice, and personal encounters. The aim is to make technical professions accessible and to highlight career prospects in the MINT sector at an early stage. The morning began with a welcome and a presentation in the Wolfgang Netzsch Arena. Participants were given an overview of the company, its product range and the importance of technology and innovation. Special attention was paid to training and career opportunities at NETZSCH. “With MINT@Work, we want to show young women at an early stage how diverse and future-oriented technical professions at NETZSCH are. It is important to us to spark enthusiasm for technology, break down barriers and provide real insights”, explains Christina Stanka, HR Specialist Learning. Following on, Bettina Steinberger, Process Optimisation, reported on her experiences in technical profession and her career path at NETZSCH to date.

Experience practical work and discover new perspectives

Young women engage in hands-on technical training at NETZSCH's workshop, enhancing skills in MINT professions.
In the training workshop on the NETZSCH Campus in Waldkraiburg, participants had the opportunity to try their hand at assembling a helicopter.

Afterwards, there was a tour of the factory, followed by the training workshop, where participants worked independently. Under the guidance of the trainees, they made their own workpiece and demonstrated their manual and technical skills. This practical part not only taught them basic manufacturing processes, but also gave them a realistic picture of everyday training in an internationally active industrial company.

The MINT@Work day concluded with a joint lunch at Café & Restaurant FELIX. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants exchanged ideas with HR management, asked questions about training, studies, and career paths, and received valuable input for their personal career orientation.
