The aseptic pump design features a crevice-free, maintenance-free flexible rod, and aseptic seals, to ensure CIP (Cleaning in Place) and SIP (Sterilization in Place), allowing for thorough cleaning and sterilization without disassembly, making it ideal for aseptic processes.
The NEMO® Pump is built with polished surfaces of the required Ra value, no dead spaces, and an open pin joint ensuring that it meets the high standards required in sensitive processes like pharmaceuticals. This design is compliant with the US 3-A Sanitary Standards and EHEDG design specifications.

The NEMO® SA Aseptic Pump is designed with advanced features to maintain product integrity and meet stringent hygiene and aseptic standards.
The pump design incorporates a joint-free flexible rod to transfer the torque and is polished and free from dead spaces and crevices. This overall pump design prevents any accumulation of media, making the pump best suited to clean and maintain sanity while allowing quick access during maintenance. Furthermore, the pump features a fully enclosed aseptic static shaft seal that complies with sanitary standards, ensuring that the media remains clean during the pumping process.
The pump housing is constructed with polished, smooth surfaces to the prescribed Ra values to prevent product adherence to the surface. It is designed with a reduced diameter and a product inlet positioned closer to the shaft, ensuring that the pump chamber is entirely free of dead space. This optimizes the flow of the product through the pump, improving the overall efficiency.
The cleaning and sterilization ports are arranged tangentially, while the pressure port is positioned eccentrically to allow for residue-free self-emptying. All sealing points are engineered for steam or sterile condensate, and the pipework is pre-installed to prevent environmental contamination.
The stator is of a reduced elastomer wall thickness, allowing it to operate effectively at wide operating rage in the conveying and cleaning phases. The status comes with a protector to safeguard against dry running and overheating. The pump's design, featuring a bearing housing and drive shaft, allows compatibility with a wide range of pressures.
